He also delivers tailored business intelligence solutions.

He holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Gerhard-Mercator University Duisburg (2003), with studies at Antonio de Nebrija Madrid. Arno stays ahead with ongoing expertise in AI and IT architectures shaping the energy transition.
Dr. Markus Schicks

Markus is your dedicated consultant at Qmesa, specializing in quantitative risk modeling for energy markets. With over 15 years in power and gas portfolio management, structuring, and origination at RWE and Uniper, he drives advanced mathematical and AI models for forecasting, optimization, and deal structuring across the energy value chain. He also delivers tailored business intelligence solutions.

He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Swansea University, a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF), and an Exec. MBA from Gdansk Tech (completed 2026). Markus continuously attends trainings on technologies driving the energy transition.
